怡思和我經常長談爭論各種問題，包括哲學問題、政治紛爭、社會不公、文化差異、中英台西文曼妙之處。
有一天我問她
我：Do you know what’s the beautiful part of the cross-cultural relationship?
她：no. what?
我：is that I’ll never get to understand you. Like I’ll never fully understand your Hispanic culture and you’ll never fully understand my Taiwanese aspect. We will always find new things in each others
她：isn’t that scary
我：Yea but which couple can fully understand each other?
有人說不了解對方的文化語言是導致跨國戀愛無法繼續的導火線，但在我們看來，這正是我們覺得有趣的地方。
我會說一些西文，怡思會說一些中文，我們每天都在學習更了解對方。戀愛是一場無止盡了解對方也不斷發現對方還有我不知道的的旅程，我願我不會抵達瞭解妳的終點。
